Trevor Scott is one of Australia’s leading designers and builders of lightweight tensile fabric bowling green roof structures and architectural membrane structures. With a career spanning more than three decades, Trevor’s work is defined by innovative design, engineering excellence and a personal commitment to every project.  

Trevor’s journey in lightweight structures began in 1992. What started as a passion for creative design and advanced fabrication has grown into a respected national business renowned for bespoke solutions that meet the unique challenges of climate, site and use.  

He holds a Master’s qualification in Lightweight Structure Design from the University of Vienna, where he trained alongside internationally recognised experts who helped shape modern tensile membrane architecture. This rare combination of formal education and hands-on experience gives Trevor a deep understanding of both the artistic and technical aspects of structural design.  

Trevor’s background in mechanical design, custom steelwork and hydraulic componentry means he personally oversees the practical construction of every project. When you work with Lightweight Structures Australia, you work directly with Trevor from initial concept through to installation, receiving clear communication and accountability every step of the way.
